Our History
The history of Maranatha is connected with its founder and current CEO, Nicole Guibert. Born in France, Nicole moved with her parents to Brazil as a teen. There she achieved a stable and promising career as an executive at major international companies.
A psychologist by academic formation, she worked in Human Resources for companies such as Carrefour and Sanofi Biopharmaceutical Company. She moved to the United States in the year 2000 and decided to put into practice all her knowledge and professional experience to help people with developmental disabilities.
Since arriving in the United States, Nicole has had the opportunity to lead several projects focused on transforming and training consumers with the aim of inserting them into society. These projects are a reference in the community for their standard of excellence and the results achieved.
Through the partnership with Ricardo Hirschfeld and Ronaldo Hirschfeld, partners of H&H Development Ltd. and Allori Business Solution, they have brought great expertise in business development, and so, Maranatha Day Program was created with the objective of supplementing the previous projects. Thus, MDP provides programs for people to develop all their skills, offering innovative activities and experience.

Testimonials
My daughter has been with Nicole’s care for eleven years. Her care has been the best. The care-givers go out of their way each and every day and night helping and protecting her. I know this is not easy due to her chance of falling from seizers. What I find admirable is the gentleness and caring she receives, and continues to receive each and every day. I never worry that her pill time is missed or good food is served at mealtime. In spite of her dementia, which can be troublesome, she is always treated with respect and dignity. Thank you Nicole for your gentle care. Sincerely,
Marie Turkle
Our adult daughter who is 42 years old has loved her residential time. A residential care home owned and supervised by Nicole Guibert. Our daughter recently said, “I hope I can stay here until I die.” I believe she made that statement because she’s experienced, first-hand, consistently loving care which has been a source of comfort and joy, not only to our daughter but to all of our family as well. Nicole’s patience and persistent optimism and practical help in navigating our daughter’s care during challenging behaviors and numerous medical issues has been remarkable. We are grateful and blessed by Nicole Guibert’s dedication in serving developmentally challenged adults in our community.
